Dennis R. Chassaniol II is a principal partner in the law firm of Dalton, Chassaniol and Bellon. The office is located in his home town of St. Charles, Missouri. Dennis takes great pride in being a high quality trial attorney with a concentration on the clients needs. He specializes in State and Federal Criminal Defense but is active in many other areas of litigation. Dennis is an active member of Assumption Parish in O'Fallon, Missouri. He is municipal judge for both the City of Lake St. Louis and Dardenne Prairie. Dennis is a member of the Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judges Association, both the St. Charles County and Missouri Bar Associations, and a Board Member of Sisters of the Most Precious Blood of O.Fallon. Dennis is married with four children. When he is not in the office or court you will find him on a soccer field or in a gym coaching his children.
Education & Experience
Dennis graduated from Duchesne High School in 1987. He is a graduate and proud alum of the University of Missouri- Columbia. He received his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1995. Dennis began his legal career as a prosecuting attorney in the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney Office. He has been in private practice since 1998 when he joined David A. Dalton Sr. in his office which eventually became Dalton, Chassaniol and Bellon Law Firm. Dennis has handled many complex cases to trial, both criminal and civil. Dennis has argued cases in State trial courts all over Missouri and in the US Federal Courts as well as appellate cases in the Missouri Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.
